Farm Tractor

Purpose: We have been instructed that with every sanitarium (lifestyle center), there should be connected an agricultural program for growing healthful food to sustain the staff, students, and those who the Lord will bring for the healing of their spiritual and physical diseases. At A Pattern, to accomplish this goal, we need a farm tractor with various implements. For this we request the help of ASI.

Electricity Generator and Solar Power

Purpose: A Pattern requested $6,500 for a backup generator that would supply power to the Lifestyle building where guests are housed. They also need to purchase solar panels for the water wells, to operate independent of public electricity due to increased power outages in their rural area.

Passenger Van

Purpose: We need at least a 7 passenger van for our small home-like lifestyle center. We pick up most of our guests at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport, an hour and a half away. We also take them on two outings, weather permitting, during our typical eleven day stay. If there are needs for lab or imaging work to be done, we take them to the local Sullivan Hospital, or if they have no insurance, to a primary healthcare center about an hour away. Scholarship Program

Purpose: Black Hills requested $5,000 to start the funding process for a work-study scholarship program for the Black Hills School of Massage.

BHHEC Outreach and Lifestyle Center Equipment

Purpose: We desire to strengthen our capacity to fulfill our mission, and this can be accomplished by acquiring a new patient whirlpool to replace our old broken unit. This will allow us to continue to provide clinical services of the best quality to our guests.

Purpose: We plan to purchase two machines, for health screening in various locations, such as local events, churches, and community health classes. We can also use them in the live-in Lifestyle program. One machine tests for cholesterol and other lipids, which are valuable in screening for risk of heart disease; the other machine tests for hemoglobin A1C, which tells what the average blood glucose has been for the past 2-3 months. This is a useful test in determining if a non-fasting person is in the normal, pre-diabetic, or diabetic range. This gives us the opportunity to suggest lifestyle changes that will decrease their risk of, or potentially reverse these diseases. This has the potential for additional income by charging a small fee for the tests, as well as making people aware of what we offer in the area of health.

Farm Multi-Purpose Truck

Purpose: Eden Valley provides nutritious vegetables and fruits that are not just organic, but full of nutrients. Today, the soil is so depleted that it’s very hard to get produce that are complete in nutrition. As we grow our own produce, our farm is in need of a vehicle to replace one that is no longer road worthy. The money from the offering will provide us with a good truck that will serve us for many years to come.

Purpose: Our lifestyle guest rooms are in great of renovations. New window treatments, bathroom furnishings, and in some cases, “new” furniture. Second usage will be for a gym. The space currently being used as a gym is in the process of being renovated as a dining room for the lifestyle guests. There is a storage room, which we would like to renovate to use as a gym. But it will take structural changes, new floor, walls, painting, new doors.

Medical Missionary Evangelist Training

Purpose: The Medical Missionary Evangelist training program needs a 12-passenger van to transport students and equipment throughout the program. During the 5-month training program, students will be traveling to different churches, outreach locations, and mission projects in which transportation is needed. Website: eden-valley.org.

Farm Equipment

Purpose: Eden Valley Zimbabwe requested $5,000 to purchase equipment and materials for their farm. This would include irrigation pipes, electric fencing, water storage tanks, plastic for the greenhouse, and hand tools.

Purpose: Our Kansas City 3ABN TV channel 39.2 got on the air in March 2015. We have had some downtime but are still managing by God’s grace. However it is a struggle and this funding would enable us to recover from our startup costs. The HeReturns staff is paying for the channel (because the Lord told us to) and this funding assistance would be a great blessing.

Bible Literature Container

Purpose: HeReturns requested $6,000 for funds to process a container of French Bibles from Light Bearers Ministry through customs and to provide transportation to their partner ministry, Train Them 2 Fish, in DR Congo.

Congo Literature Container

Purpose: HeReturns has a close relationship with our partner ministry, Train Them 2 Fish. TT2F is an ASI and OCI member based in Kinshasa, DR Congo. At ASI Houston 2017, HeReturns and TT2F approached Light Bearers publishing ministry to explore getting a container of French Bible literature for DR Congo. In 2021, Light Bearers has shipped a container with about 7500 French Bibles with included studies! And more than 2 million Voice of Prophecy and Daniel and Revelation study guides! The cost for customs and transportation is again $6000. The container is on its way to Congo and is expected to arrive in April. Website: congo.hereturns.org

Food Storage Locker

Purpose: ASI Mid-America’s investment will be utilized to ensure 50 orphaned and abandoned children in Zimbabwe, Africa have food security. This will be ensured through the construction of a food storage locker, a desperately needed items in these times of uncertainty in Zimbabwe.

Solar Power Improvements

Purpose: Kuda Vana Partnership requested $5,000 to add solar panels to their current solar grid. They have outgrown their current system. This funding would help provide reliable electricity for the 50 orphaned and abandoned children in their care.

Gymnasium Improvements

Purpose: La Vida Mission requested $5,000 for a dual-purpose addition to their gymnasium which will house the Community Services downstairs and the Pathfinder/Adventure Clubs upstairs.

Gymnasium Improvements

Purpose: We are adding on to our gymnasium, making it more useful for serving the students and community. Adding Bathrooms with showers, Kitchen (with 2 stoves, double oven, 2 refrigerators, 2 Commercial Freezers), washer & dryer, and large storage area. This will be used for housing overflow Mission Groups, teaching Home Economics classes, health seminars, Emergency Disaster use, camp meetings, community dinners, funerals, etc.

Sabbath Rest Video Seminars

Purpose: Funds are requested to purchase stock videos and footage for a five-part video series that will form the heart of live Sabbath Rest seminars that local churches can present themselves. Each of the five videos will be approximately 20-30 minutes in duration and be accompanied with study guides and presentation slides for group study and discussion. Website: pathwaytoparadise.org

Purpose: We are a radio program that broadcasts 10 times per week in the Kansas City, Missouri area and 5 times per week in Mobile, Alabama. Our proposal is a series of broadcast programs on the Old Testament Sanctuary Service. We will go into detail on the types and shadows and what it all means. Darrin Donahue is the speaker of the radio program. But we will bring in other speakers to assist with this project. We estimate that there will be at least 50 radio programs, each 30 minutes in length.

Radio Channel Project

Purpose: We have been broadcasting Seedtime & Harvest on Rural Radio Channel 147 which is on SirusXM satellite radio. This channel is designed specifically for farmers and ranchers. Seedtime & Harvest airs 60 second spots M-F one-time per day just before noon Central Time. We have covered the yearly cost with donated funds and continue to do so, however, we are requesting funds from ASI for continued support for this project. We do not want to lose this station. Purpose: Purchase of radio time – $2000.00. This would be to air S&H 60 second spots for one year and involve a local church(s) to share the cost with matching funds. This reaches out to their local community and we can work with the station to give PR for the church as a sponsor. It will also give us the opportunity to promote the S&H website. County Fairs – $500.00 Booth and parade fees, giveaway materials (pamphlets, Desire of Ages, Happiness Digest, Christ’s Object Lessons).

Purpose: We need transmission lines for the Radio signal and to hang the antenna and complete construction. It has to be finished and broadcasting by July 1, 2017 or else we will lose the frequency.
